3M™ Bayonet Gas & Vapor Cartridges with Particulate Filters are designed for versatile and easy use, enhancing both field of view and on-the-job comfort. Featuring a low-profile, swept-back design, these cartridges are simple to install just select the cartridge suitable for your needs, align it with the respirator, and twist a quarter turn to lock it in place. They are compatible with 3M™ 6000 Series Half Facepieces, 6500/6500QL Series, 7500 Series, 6000 Series Full Facepieces, FF-400 Series, 7800 Series, and 3M™ Scott™ AV-3000 HT and AV-3000 SureSeal Facepieces with the AV-632 Bayonet Adapter, helping reduce inventory requirements and simplifying respirator management.
These cartridges are engineered for easy breathing and long-lasting performance. Carbon particles within the cartridges absorb contaminants, and 3M has optimized the carbon bed layers, particle size, and cartridge geometry to balance breathability with service life. They provide reliable protection against a wide range of gases, vapors, and particulates across multiple industrial applications.
3M offers an online tool to help select the right respirators, cartridges, and filters, and to determine appropriate change-out schedules. NIOSH-approved, these cartridges provide respiratory protection from certain gases or vapors up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces, and up to 50 times the OSHA PEL with quantitatively fit-tested full facepieces. They are not suitable for environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH). Replace cartridges according to your documented schedule or sooner if you detect any smell, taste, or irritation from contaminants.
